After a string of 12 wins, Laingsburg's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Bath Fighting Bees, falling 4-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Laingsburg came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Bath are ranked 207th).

Laingsburg's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Bath, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.
