Baseball Game Preview: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders vs. Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders are taking a road trip to take on the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Guilfoyle is looking for their season's first victory.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bishop Guilfoyle's offense. They lost 15-0 to Huntingdon on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bellwood-Antis lost a heartbreaker to Bishop McCort when they met back in May of 2016, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Blue Devils took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crushers. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Crushers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cam Swogger made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Landon Sneath also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bishop Guilfoyle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bellwood-Antis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Bishop Guilfoyle might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Bellwood-Antis in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Marauders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
