Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson duked it out with New Bremen on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jefferson and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for New Bremen, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Coming up, Jefferson will challenge Spencerville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Bremen, they will face off against Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
