Baseball Recap: South Greene Comes Up Short

South Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights, falling 10-0. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

South Greene's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chuckey-Doak, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

While South Greene had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
