Basketball Recap: Merryville Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeRidder last Friday, Merryville came back down to earth. The Merryville Panthers fell to the Tioga Indians 46-41. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Merryville's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Tioga, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Merryville has already played their next contest (against Elton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tioga has already played their next match, a 40-33 defeat against West Ouachita on the 24th.
