Football Recap: Phoenix Starts off Right with Win over Madras + How To Watch

Phoenix gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Madras White Buffaloes with a sharp 35-9 win.

Trae Casteel was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 275 yards and four TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. 85 of Casteel's passing yards were hauled in by Isaiah Wilson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Looking ahead, Phoenix is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Brookings-Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madras, they will welcome Sweet Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
