Softball Recap: East St. Louis Comes Up Short

East St. Louis fell victim to Edwardsville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in April.

East St. Louis dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Edwardsville, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 20-7.

Looking ahead, East St. Louis will be playing at home against Belleville West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Edwardsville has already played their next contest (against Columbia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
