Southwick Regional's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Ware Indians 3-0. The Rams were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Indians, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

Southwick Regional's got stronger as the match went on, holding Ware to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

Nicolas Spina paced Southwick Regional's offense, picking up 20 kills. Spina got some help from Phong Tran and his 28 assists. Spina was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Southwick Regional has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Ware, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwick Regional will head out to face off against Commerce at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ware, they will challenge Granby at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
