Taylor County entered their tilt with Central on Saturday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 67-60 win over the Central Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-56 last Thursday.

Taylor County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcal Myles, who posted 17 points. The dominant performance gave Myles a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ajavian Wilder, who scored 14 points.

Central's loss came despite strong showings from Sema J Copeland and Brandon Bussey. Copeland earned 25 points, while Bussey put up 18 points. Demarcus White was another key player, putting up seven points.

Taylor County pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Central, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
