Basketball Recap: Mars Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mars can now relate to. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greater Latrobe Wildcats on Thursday. The Fightin' Planets just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Mars' defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Greater Latrobe, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Mars does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greater Latrobe, they will head out to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
