Softball Recap: Hartland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hartland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They never let the Belleville Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Skylar Spisz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Addy Caten was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Hartland pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Belleville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartland will welcome Clio at 4:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for Belleville, they will host Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th.
