Softball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Mead Panthers

Ridgeline is 1-7 against Mead since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Ridgeline after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 7-4 to University. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 7, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mead challenged Lewis & Clark on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 12-7 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Mead, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Ridgeline might still be hurting after the 20-13 loss they got from Mead in their previous matchup on April 3rd. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
