Volleyball Recap: Normal University Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Normal University saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins.

Laney Snow paced Normal University's offense, picking up eight kills. Snow got some help from Morgan Petelin and her 13 assists. Ava Crabtree and Madison Funk kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Canada, who had eight digs.

Normal University is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Tri-West Hendricks, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Normal University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Jacksonville on the 16th. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Libertyville on the 13th.
