Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neah Bay). They put the hurt on the Tulalip Heritage Hawks with a sharp 83-57 victory on Thursday. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Neah Bay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makyah Chambers, who went 9-for-18 on his way to 23 points and four steals. Chambers has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Swan, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

Neah Bay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Neah Bay pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Tulalip Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Neah Bay will challenge Lummi at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Lummi will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Neah Bay surely won't give up without a fight. Tulalip Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
