It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Glencoe ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Oregon City Pioneers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crimson Tide have posted since May 20, 2024.

Lexi Brester spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
