Basketball Game Preview: Centennial Coyotes vs. Lake Havasu Knights

The Centennial Coyotes will head out to face off against the Lake Havasu Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Centennial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.

Centennial took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-69 win over Kellis.

Meanwhile, Lake Havasu was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 62-58 to Kellis.

Centennial will have to contain Isaac Bolden as he made an impact in Lake Havasu's last game. He posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave Bolden a new career-high in points. Ethan Royes was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lake Havasu has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.

Everything came up roses for Centennial against Lake Havasu when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 94-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centennial since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
