Basketball Recap: Sierra Linda Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

On Wednesday, the Sierra Linda Bulldogs earned a 41-29 win over the Alhambra Lions.

Alhambra lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ixchel Aleman Saldivar, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Danika Jacobs, who earned eight points.

Sierra Linda has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Alhambra, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Sierra Linda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-16 victory against Glendale on the 17th. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-8 defeat against North on the 17th.
