247Sports Composite, committed to Stanford today in an announcement held at
Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.).
He picked the Cardinal over USC and Michigan.
The 6-foot-5, 223-pound quarterback threw for 3,123 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior, going up against a difficult Trinity League schedule.
The
247Sports Crystal Ball pegged Costello to Stanford at a 70-percent clip.
Costello is the second commitment for the Cardinal for the Class of 2016, joining Florida defensive tackle Bo Peek.
