Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Skates Past Georgia Military College with Ease

Wilkinson County had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point drubbing they dealt Georgia Military College on Tuesday. The Wilkinson County Warriors took their game with ease, bagging a 67-40 victory over the Georgia Military College Bulldogs. With the Warriors ahead 38-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Georgia Military College's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benjamin Vaughn, who went 7 of 14 en route to 16 points and six rebounds. Those 16 points gave Vaughn a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tommy Carty, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The win (which was Wilkinson County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
