Metro Christian entered their tilt with Regent Prep on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Regent Prep. Considering the Patriots have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Metro Christian pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Regent Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coming up, Metro Christian will face off against Holland Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Regent Prep, they will challenge Henryetta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
