Mission Vista had won five straight home games and Raquel Perez did her part to make it six on Thursday. Mission Vista blew past the Sage Creek Bobcats 3-0 thanks in part to Perez, who had 13 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Mission Vista never let Sage Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

Mission Vista's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Sage Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-19 record this season.
