Pickerington Central had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pickerington Central took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Gabby Michel and Mackenzie Simpson, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Madison Lyons and her 20 assists. Mycaela Massey controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Pickerington Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Logan on the 26th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Upper Arlington on the 21st.
