Softball Recap: Southern Comes Up Short

Southern made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Liverpool, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Potters by a score of 14-12 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly two runs.

Southern is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for East Liverpool, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Southern has already played their next contest, a 28-18 defeat against Toronto on the 28th. As for East Liverpool, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 loss against Beaver Local on the 27th.
