Softball Recap: Cromwell Starts Season with Win Against Morgan

Cromwell took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Morgan Huskies with a sharp 20-2 win. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 20-2 win on Saturday.

Alexis Wiatrak and Teegan Milller did most of the damage at the plate: Wiatrak scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Milller scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Keria Beyer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cromwell beat Morgan by a score of 20-2 later that day.
