Basketball Recap: Branford Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Branford Buccaneers had to suffer through a 61-22 loss at the hands of the Baker County Wildcats. The match marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Branford still got an impressive performance from Cloey Criggall, who posted nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Branford and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Baker County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Branford will take on Countryside Christian in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Baker County and Suwannee will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
