1. Hamilton (Memphis)
2013-14 finish: 19-6
Head coach: Todd Day

Former coach Keelon Lawson departed for an assistant position at the University of Memphis. Thankfully for Hamilton, his sons remain. Seniors Dedric Lawson (6-8, G/F) and K.J. Lawson (6-7, G/F) are more than capable of carrying the Wildcats to a state title and perhaps into the national rankings.

2. Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville)
2013-14 finish: 34-3, Division I-AA state semifinalist
Head coach: Drew Maddux

Class AA Mr. Basketball Braxton Blackwell (6-7, Jr., F) is back to lead the Lions after coming up just short of a state championship game appearance in 2013-14. Blackwell averaged 19.4 points and 12.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

3. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga)
2013-14 finish: 31-8
Head coach: Zach Ferrell

The Hawks are an independent program and don't compete for a state title in Tennessee. Juniors Ezekiel Balogun (6-6, G/F) and Abdulhakim Ado (6-10, C) were both key cogs for last year's 31-win campaign and should make HHCA tough to beat this winter.

4. White Station (Memphis)
2013-14 record: 30-3
Head coach: Jesus Patino

The Spartans were ranked in the Top 10 nationally for much of the 2013-14 season before stumbling down the stretch and coming up short of winning a state title. Guards Nych Smith (5-10, Sr.) and Dillon Mitchell (6-1, Jr.) hope to help White Station fans erase that bitter memory.

5. Bolton (Arlington)
2013-14 finish: 24-5
Head coach: D.J. Simpson

Junior point guard Jaylen Fisher (6-1) is a Top 50 2016 prospect according to 247Sports. Defending national champs Connecticut along with Baylor, Florida and Memphis have all made offers to the floor general.
