Baseball Recap: Milan Indians vs. South Ripley Raiders
After losing to South Ripley the last time they met, Milan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians blew past the Raiders 11-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.
Brady Alcorn made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Alcorn was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Noah Morgan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cayden Davidson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
Milan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Ripley only managed seven hits.
