Basketball Recap: Ridgewood's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Ridgewood entered their game against Riverside-Brookfield on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ridgewood Rebels took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 70-65 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Ridgewood's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3. As for Riverside-Brookfield, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will square off against Aurora East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside-Brookfield, they will take on Glenbard South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
