Baseball Recap: West Mifflin Titans vs. Baldwin Highlanders

After flying high against Albert Gallatin last Tuesday, West Mifflin came back down to earth. West Mifflin fell just short of the Baldwin Highlanders by a score of 7-6 on Thursday.

Caden Wills put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Thomas Jefferson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Baldwin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
