After flying high against Meade County last Friday, Breckinridge County came back down to earth. The Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apollo Eagles. The Fighting Tigers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Breckinridge County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Apollo, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Breckinridge County will square off against Muhlenberg County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Breckinridge County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 games -- so hopefully Muhlenberg County likes a good challenge. As for Apollo, they will face off against Daviess County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
