Volleyball Recap: Chamblee Victorious

Chamblee proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Shiloh Generals. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won three in a row.

Chamblee can attribute much of their success to Trinity Robins, who had 13 digs.

Chamblee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

Chamblee's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Shiloh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-9.

Chamblee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 16th. As for Shiloh, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lanier on the 18th.
