Recap: Madison Jaguars vs. Carroll Bulldogs
It was a good run, but the Madison Jaguars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carroll. Madison was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carroll apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
When it comes to explaining why Madison lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amarrion White. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Steve James, who scored eight points.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Carroll, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Madison and Red River will round out the year against one another at TBD on Friday at. Carroll is on the road again on Friday and play against Denham Springs on December 29, 2023. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Denham Springs is ranked 34th, while Carroll is ranked 33rd).
