Baseball Recap: Plano East Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Plano East's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McKinney Boyd Broncos on Saturday. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Plano East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Barboza, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Plano East's loss dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for McKinney Boyd, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Plano East and McKinney Boyd will both be playing Plano the next time they take the field. McKinney Boyd will host Plano at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Plano East will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on April 11.
