Baseball Recap: Chancellor Comes Up Short

Chancellor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Culpeper County Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Chancellor's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Culpeper County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chancellor and Culpeper County will both be playing Caroline the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Blue Devils will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
