Volleyball Recap: Timpview Takes a Loss

Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Cedar Valley Aviators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aviators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Timpview was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cedar Valley work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 27-25.

Cedar Valley found their leader in sophomore Chris Coston, who had 23 assists.

Timpview's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Cedar Valley, their record now sits at 9-10.

Coming up, Timpview will be playing at home against Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Thunderbirds surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Valley, they will square off against Salem Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
