 Despite the  defeat, Liberty had strong showings from  Jacie Bunck, who  scored 17 points along with two  steals, and  Ava Dawes, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. Dawes is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Samira Gantt, who  scored eight points along with two  steals.
  Daniella Bosmans continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fountain-Fort Carson,  scoring 24 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds. Bosmans is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of  Keira Mitchell, who  scored six points along with 11  rebounds and five  assists.
 Liberty has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record  this season. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
 Liberty will be playing at home against Vista Ridge at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Colorado (Vista Ridge is ranked 100th, while Liberty is ranked 99th). As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they will head out on the road to  take on  Rampart at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
