LeRoy won the last time they faced Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons.

LeRoy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17.

LeRoy's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. LeRoy will square off against Flanagan-Cornell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they will take on Paxton-Buckley-Loda in a tournament on Saturday.
