Baseball Recap: East Brunswick Comes Up Short

The East Brunswick Bears didn't have quite enough to beat the Hamilton Hornets on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connor Glynn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, East Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Spinello, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

East Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Hamilton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, East Brunswick will head out on the road to square off against Liberty at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will welcome Manasquan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
