Volleyball Recap: Logan Elm Falls Short of Gallia Academy in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Logan Elm and Gallia Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Logan Elm had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-2. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Defeat or not, Logan Elm got some senior leadership from Kimberly Petty and Macy Greene. Petty had 12 digs and five aces, while Greene had 12 digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Petty.

Chloe Bennett went supernova For Gallia Academy., getting 21 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Bennett has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacey McWhorter, who had five digs and three aces.

With the loss, Logan Elm broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-6. As for Gallia Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Logan Elm does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gallia Academy, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Circleville on the 25th.
