Basketball Game Preview: Centura Centurions vs. Central City Bison

The Centura Centurions will face off against the Central City Bison at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Centura came up short against Wood River and fell 45-32. The Centurions haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Mason Gorecki, who posted four points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyus Francl, who had six points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Central City also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Boone Central by a score of 61-52. The loss was the Bison's first of the season.

Centura's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central City, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.
