Basketball Recap: Albia Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Albia waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. The Blue Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 25 points or more this season.

Albia's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Interstate 35, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Albia nor Interstate 35 have any future games scheduled.
