Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Toledo Christian). Everything went their way against the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals on Tuesday as they made off with a 27-9 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Toledo Christian's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Cardinal Stritch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Toledo Christian will venture away from home to challenge Swanton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
