Basketball Recap: V.R. Eaton Eagles vs. Reedy Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bell, V.R. Eaton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Reedy Lions with a 45-41 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Lions are ranked 105th).
V.R. Eaton's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Reedy, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-4.
