Meadowbrook has gone 8-1 against Crooksville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Colts will take on the Ceramics at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Meadowbrook was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They skirted past Philo 4-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 27, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Gunner Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on two hits.

At the plate, Braylon Lowery was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Miles, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Crooksville hadn't done well against Maysville recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Ceramics walked away with an 8-3 win over the Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ceramics as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meadowbrook's record is now 9-11. As for Crooksville, their record now sits at 7-14.

Meadowbrook came out on top in a nail-biter against Crooksville in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
