Football Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Santa Paula Cardinals, falling 27-7. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Tritons couldn't quite close it out.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Santa Paula, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Pacifica will take on St. Bonaventure in a tournament on Saturday. As for Santa Paula, they will take on Simi Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
