Volleyball Recap: Juanita Falls Despite Big Games from Norah Lacey and Carla Pop + How To Watch

Juanita was the 3-2 winner over Inglemoor when they last played one another on October 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Vikings on Thursday. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Juanita started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-21, 25-10, 26-24.

Juanita's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carla Pop, who had 16 assists and four digs, and Norah Lacey, who had four digs and two aces.

Inglemoor found their leader in sophomore Courtney Deresh, who had 21 digs and two aces. Deresh has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 18 times she's played.

Juanita's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Inglemoor, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6.

Juanita has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Creek on the 1st. Inglemoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
