Soccer Recap: Basic Comes Up Short

Basic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons. Basic were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Doral Academy Red Rock earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Basic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-4. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Basic is set to square off against their familiar foe Del Sol at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Doral Academy Red Rock will face off against rival Foothill at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
