Recap: Frontier STEM vs. Ozanam
This season hasn't been kind to Frontier STEM, who are still winless after their seventh match. They took a 51-36 bruising from Ozanam on Thursday. Frontier STEM has struggled against Ozanam recently, as their game on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Ozanam got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Skylar Horn out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds. Those 19 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaireion Nicholson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Frontier STEM bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ozanam, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier STEM won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northland Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. Northland Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Ozanam, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 16th.
