Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They blew past the North Kingstown Skippers 88-53 on Wednesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Lions with their most commanding win of the season.

North Kingstown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Deorsey, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points. The matchup was Deorsey's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jake Perry, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

The win was the third in a row for Lincoln, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for North Kingstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will venture away from home to challenge Portsmouth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for North Kingstown, they will head out on the road to square off against Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Classical is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season.
