Soccer Recap: Archbishop Alter Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Archbishop Alter was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the St. Ursula Academy Arrows could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Atuganile Mwamukonda was the only thing that stood between Archbishop Alter and a shutout considering she scored both of Archbishop Alter's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Archbishop Alter's draw makes their record 3-1-1 this season. Meanwhile, St. Ursula Academy's record is now 3-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Alter will take on Legacy Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Archbishop Alter will need to watch out since Legacy Christian Academy has now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for St. Ursula Academy, they will welcome Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
